Barry R. Swartz Vice President American-Israel Chamber of Commerce

This morning Dana and Elizabeth are joined by Barry R. Swartz, Vice President of American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Region, and Executive Director American Israel Educational Institute, the charitable affiliate of the Chamber.   Barry leads the organization’s new outreach initiatives to corporations and philanthropy as well as educational and matchmaker programs that stimulate trade and investment between Southeast and Israeli companies.

The American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Region was established in 1992 as a private, not-for profit (and non-governmental) business organization to boost the Israeli and Southeastern economies by helping their companies develop business relationships with each other and explore new market opportunities. With over 500 members today, AICC is headquartered in Atlanta and serves companies from Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Israel.

AICC has earned the reputation as one of the most successful and effective bi-national business organizations in the United States, delivering great value to Israeli companies seeking U.S. market entry, to American companies desiring entry into Israel and entrée to her incredible technologies, or to those looking for a powerful network to promote their products or services.

We talk about Atlanta’s new Maynard H. Jackson Jr. international terminal at the Hartsfield Jackson airport, the importance of international trade, Facebook’s stock price woes, and Israel’s technology and water.
